We had to call the FD later that evening due to kids jumping on the bed above us. The room other than those 2 issues was clean. I didn’t bother to complain to the not so friendly FD agent, I just trashed the hair and used a Clorox wipe on the sink vanity. I found someone’s hair on my bedspread when I got to the room and some dried toothpaste on the sink vanity. The hotel had no hand sanitizer anywhere in the common areas and I didn’t see a single COVID message like at the previous 2 we stayed at. The hotel was out of complimentary toothbrushes (not entirely a big deal but if you offer a “forget something” message, you should have the stock to back it up). We weren’t greeted as a diamond member, not given our welcome bag and she told us nothing about checkout time or breakfast like most hotels do. She wasn’t mean, she just wasn’t friendly. The FD agent checking us in wasn’t the normal “Hilton positive”. With that being said, here is where they let us down. The beds were comfortable and the WiFi and water pressure were both good. My husband is a Diamond member so we are very loyal to the chain.
